1Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the REMODELING BY M&J mobile application. The legal entity responsible for this application is REMODELING BY M&J INC.
2Information Entered in the Estimate Form
The application includes an estimate-details form with the following fields:
- Full Name — Required. Used to identify the person preparing the remodeling request details inside the application.
- Email Address — Required. Used as part of the prepared request information and validated for basic email format.
- Phone Number — Optional. Used only when the user chooses to include a phone contact number in the prepared request details.
- Selected Service — Required. Used to identify which remodeling category the request relates to.
- Project Details — Optional. Used to let the user describe goals, preferences, or other project information.
3Storage and Retention
The current application does not create a user account and does not save completed estimate-form submissions to an app database. Form values are held temporarily while the estimate screen is being used and are cleared after the completion flow. The app does not maintain a server-side copy of those estimate-form values.
4Transmission of Estimate Information
The application does not include a backend server, cloud database, or API that transmits the estimate-form submission to the business. Completing the estimate-details flow inside the app does not represent external receipt, acceptance, confirmation, scheduling, or approval by the business.
5Contact Us and External Email Applications
The Contact Us section can open an email application installed on the user's device. The REMODELING BY M&J app does not send an email directly. If the user writes and sends a message in an external email application, that message is handled by the selected email provider under its own privacy practices.
6Advertising, Analytics, Accounts, and Third-Party SDKs
The application does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, Firebase, authentication, user accounts, tracking SDKs, payment processing, or remote-configuration services.
7Device Permissions and Access
The application does not request access to precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, identity documents, or the device media library. The app's service and remodeling images are packaged with the application and are not loaded from a remote image service.
8Payments and Financial Information
The application does not process payments and does not request or store card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking passwords, banking credentials, or other payment credentials.
9Data Sharing
The application does not transmit the estimate-form information to the company, an external server, an advertising provider, or an analytics provider. Information that a user voluntarily enters into an external email application is handled by that external email service and is outside the direct processing of this application.
10User Choices and Deletion
Because the app does not maintain a user account or persistent database of completed estimate requests, there is no server account to delete. Users can clear or change form fields before completion. Form values are cleared after the completion flow. Uninstalling the application removes the application and any ordinary app state retained by Android on the device, subject to the device platform's own backup and restore settings.
11Children's Privacy
The application is intended for people seeking information about residential remodeling services and is not designed specifically for children. The application does not operate a backend system that knowingly collects children's personal information.
12Security
No method of electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. This application limits its data handling by avoiding accounts, backend submission of estimate-form information, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, and payment processing. Information sent using an external email application is subject to that external service's security and privacy practices.
13Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's functionality or data practices change. A revised policy should reflect the behavior of the version of the application in which it appears.
